Airbourne fans can from today upgrade their visit to Eastbourne Airshow and enjoy an extra special day at the show from 18 – 21 August, knowing they are also supporting the future of the event.

With packages from £20, visitors can choose from a variety of new options including reserved grandstand seating on the Western Lawns, a new Air Bear Club for younger fans and a new Supporters Club with exclusive goodies and memorabilia.

Businesses can get in on the action too with the return of the ever popular Aviator Club hospitality for £99 – already sold out on Sunday, as well as sponsorship and advertising packages starting from £200.

Following the show’s two-year hiatus, organisers have released the packages this year to help meet the growing income target of around £400,000 to break even.  With increasing flying display and security costs the show must cover its cost this year or face being grounded for good in 2023.

With some donations pledged so far from local businesses, organisers are also asking supporters to donate towards the show to secure its future.  In return, both donors and Airbourne Supporters Club members will be listed on the website over the coming months as valued supporters of the show.

Eastbourne Borough Council Lead Cabinet Member for Tourism & Culture, Cllr Margaret Bannister said “After a difficult two years since the start of the pandemic, we are so relieved to finally bring back our biggest star of the events season.  However without the financial support of those visitors, residents and businesses who enjoy the benefits of this free show, this really will be its last year!

If you enjoy visiting the show, or reap some of the benefits of the extra visitors and increased profile that Airbourne brings then please, I urge you, dig deep and support the show. Whether its through booking a fabulous day in hospitality on the Western Lawns, or joining our new Supporters Club for some limited edition goodies or grabbing a spot in our new grandstand seating for the best views, there are so many ways to help, while you benefit from a bit of VIP treatment too!

Visitors can choose from a range of booking options in the new online shop, with Supporters Club membership starting at £25 for exclusive goodies including a programme, limited edition Airbourne pin badge and bar discount, or Air Bear Club membership with sticker pack, poster, Air Bear gift and an exclusive Meet & Greet with the bears for £20.

Premium Supporters can also enjoy the added bonus of exclusive access to premium toilet facilities on the Western Lawns, as well as a limited edition Airbourne 2022 tshirt, pin badge, programme and poster for £50.  While brand new Grandstand seating on the Western Lawns provides reserved seats and toilet facilities for £25 per adult.

Those looking to simply donate, can do so and become an Airbourne Ambassador with one-off and monthly payment options available online.  Names of all supporters will appear on the airshow website, although there is also the option to remain anonymous.

Airbourne is a free show and will return from 18 – 21 August 2022. To book seating, memberships, hospitality, trade, sponsorship and advertising or to simply donate, visit EastbourneAirshow.com.
